A Frustrated India is Threat For Global Peace By Dr Muhammad Khan

After the stage-managed Pulwama attack, it appears that India is totally frustrated and looking for an excuse to have a face saving in front of Indian masses and international community. Indeed, India has boasted its military power and hegemonic designs in such a way that now it is finding difficulty to prove that. It made false claims in September 2016 that its Army had conducted surgical strikes in Azad Kashmir after the so-called Uri attack. Very recently after Pulwama attack, it made another failed attempt to deceive the people through air space violations which were fully thwarted.
Nevertheless, India perhaps did not learn a lesson after its two aircraft were shot down by the brave sons of Pakistan Air Force along the Line of Control (LoC). The event exposed the professionalism of Indian Air Force and the capability of Indian war munitions. It was broad-day light, once Pakistani aircraft shot two Indian aircraft while remaining well within their own area. Later Indian Air Chief confessed the failure and rejected the false claims of Indian Government about the killings in Balakot where Indian aircraft just dropped the payload and escaped. After humiliation of IAF at LoC, Indian Air Force will never dare make an attempt again to violate the Pakistani airspace.
The cunning Indian leadership is still trying to settle the score, therefore, Pakistani defence forces are at their highest form of operational alertness/preparedness. On night 4/5 March 2019, Indian submarine tried to enter the Pakistani waters which was detected and thwarted by the Pakistan Navy. As per Pakistan Navy spokesperson, “The Pakistan Navy used its specialised skills to ward off the submarine, successfully keeping it from entering Pakistani waters.” After 2016, this is second time that the Pakistan Navy has detected an Indian submarine trying to enter Pakistani waters. It is worth mentioning that “Pakistan territorial waters are 12 nautical miles while its seabed territory, the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) has expanded to 290,000 square kilometres.” Indeed, this vast expanse has become 5th province of Pakistan since 2015.
Pakistan Navy is in the highest form of its professionalism. It is equipped with most modern form of early warning system and war munitions. As per Naval sources, the Indian submarine was detected and localised in Pakistan’s maritime zone on 4 March, however, it was not attacked because Pakistan never wanted to escalate the situation. “The submarine could have been easily engaged and destroyed had it not been Pakistan’s policy to exercise restraint in the face of Indian aggression and to give peace a chance to prevail.
Failing to make ground attack, like 2016, India has started violation of LoC all along the disputed territory. It is worth mentioning that 425,000 civilians are residing along the LoC in AJK. These people are constantly facing Indian firing at their houses throughout the year. From 2013 to 2018, Indian firing killed more than 700 people besides injuring over 3000 people. Besides, there have been huge losses of property and animals. Indian aggression in the IoK as well as along the LoC is at its peak. All is being done to suppress the Kashmiri peaceful movement for their right of self-determination. However, the people of Kashmir are determined to achieve their UN-mandated right at any cost.
The current phase of Indian frustration is indeed marked by the BJP’s campaign for its re-election in 2019. According to the ‘Economic Times’ ‘RSS and BJP start firming up 2019 election strategy. The newspaper disclosed that the top leadership of RSS and BJP have started a campaign for paving the ground for re-election of BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha election in India. ‘Times of India’ had already warned Indian masses and major Indian political parties in its 24 June 2017 publication that if BJP wins the 2019 election, there will be a total change in India, a total conversion into Hindutva. The writer of this news item opines that “I Believe RSS and BJP view the 2019 election as an important milestone in their desire to realise their long-standing dream of establishing a Hindu Rashtra.”
The UK-based “The Guardians” said in its 12 November 2015 edition that ‘India is being ruled by Hindu Taliban.’ Indeed, for making 2019 election campaign a success for BJP, RSS and BJP are making use of Government funds to manage media in the favour of BJP and for the promotion of Hindutva ideology. It is worth mentioning that today’s India has total domination of RSS in sphere of Indian society and Indian state affairs. This extremist and terrorist group has a very critical and definitive role in Indian politics.
There is a realization among the neutral Indians that RSS-led policies would lead this country towards an extremist and terrorist India in the next two decades. A similar realization is found among the international community that Hindutva and RSS are worst enemies of peace, tolerance and co-existence. The most worrisome aspect for the world is that a country with a population of 1.3 billion will play havoc at regional and international level, once totally converted into Hindutva ideology.
The frustrated India is rapidly becoming a threat for the regional and international peace. Indian aggression against Pakistan is a clear manifestation of evil designs of sabotaging peace and stability in the South Asian region. The United Nations and international community must condemn the Indian hegemonic designs and militant mindset.
